Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing and using the Wistorix extension, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, you can remove the extension and revoke its access in your Google Account settings.

2. Services Wistorix provides

Wistorix is a browser extension that helps you analyze Google Drive storage and create statistical reports. The extension reads file metadata, and only scans file contents in depth when you explicitly ask it to.

Wistorix is a support tool. Every change in your Drive is made by you.

3. User responsibilities

You are fully responsible for actions taken on your files, including deleting or editing them. Wistorix never deletes or changes files automatically without a direct action from you.

You agree to use Wistorix only on Google accounts you are legally entitled to manage.

4. Accuracy of results

Analysis results are designed to be as accurate as possible, but are not guaranteed to be error-free. Review the list before acting, especially for bulk actions.

5. Limitation of liability

Wistorix and its developers are not liable for data loss resulting from actions you take based on the extension's suggestions.

For peace of mind, back up important data before a large-scale review. Files deleted in Google Drive usually go to Trash and are kept for 30 days before permanent deletion, so you still have time to restore them.

6. Changes to the service

Features of the service may be adjusted, added or discontinued at any time.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continuing to use Wistorix after the terms change means you accept the new version. The latest version is always published on this page.

8. Uninstalling and revoking access

You can remove the extension or revoke Google Drive access at any time on your Google Account page, under Third-party apps.
