The Wistorix tool to bulk delete Google Drive files selects files by group after a scan: duplicates, empty files, old files and orphaned files, in any folder. One click moves them all to the Google Drive Trash, where you can restore them for 30 days.

Select files across many folders at once
In Drive, the Shift key only selects files that sit next to each other in one folder. Wistorix selects by group after a scan: duplicates, empty files, old files and orphaned files, wherever they are.
Filter first, then bulk delete
Narrow the list by file type, size and time since last use before you tick anything. You delete exactly the 300 old videos over 100MB instead of scrolling through thousands of files.
Files go to the Trash, never permanently deleted
Wistorix never permanently deletes a file. Files move to the Google Drive Trash, where Google keeps them for 30 days, so you can restore anything you picked by mistake.
How to bulk delete files in Google Drive
- Scan your Drive. Install the Wistorix Chrome extension, sign in and run a scan. Scanning is free.
- Pick a group and filter. Open the group you want to clean up, filter by file type, size or time, then tick the files to remove.
- Move them to the Trash. Confirm to move every selected file to the Trash. Once you're sure, empty the Trash to get the storage back.
How it differs from selecting files by hand
By hand, you open each folder, hold Shift or Ctrl to select files, then delete them. That works for a few dozen files in one folder. When files are spread across years of projects, selecting them by group after a scan is much faster. The manual steps are covered in our guide to deleting multiple files in Google Drive.
