Remove one email from every file
In Google Drive, removing someone means opening every file they have access to. Wistorix groups all access by email, so you can revoke one email from every file in a single action.
Choose the scope
Revoke across your whole Drive, inside one project folder, or for a list of emails at once. Useful when a client project closes or a group of contractors finishes their contracts.
Stop sharing many files at once
For public links, select several files and stop sharing to switch them back to Restricted. Email access stays as it is unless you revoke it.
How to bulk remove access in Google Drive
- Scan your Drive. Install the Wistorix Chrome extension, sign in and run a scan. Scanning is free.
- Pick the emails and scope. Open shared emails, choose one or more emails, then choose your whole Drive or a single folder.
- Revoke access. Confirm to remove access. If you remove someone by mistake, share the file with them again in Drive at any time.
Revoking access versus deleting a file
Revoking access only takes the person off the list of people with access. The file stays where it is and you still own it. Google Drive doesn't notify the person. Unlike the Trash, there's no recovery window: to give access back, you share again. The full process for each situation is in our guide to revoking access in Google Drive.
How Wistorix keeps your data safe
- Wistorix reads sharing settings and file metadata only, never file contents
- It never revokes access on its own. Every action runs only after you confirm
- It can only change permissions on files you own

Frequently asked questions
Will the person know I removed their access?
No. Google Drive doesn't send a notification when you remove access. They just can't open the file anymore.
What if I revoke the wrong person?
Share the file or folder with that email again in Google Drive. Revoking access has no automatic undo.
Can I revoke access to files someone else owns?
No. Only the owner, or an editor who is allowed to share, can change a file's permissions.
Is bulk revoking free?
Scanning and viewing who has access is always free. A paid plan applies when you act on a large number of files.
